Ileana Vargas, M.D.
Pediatric Endocrinologist

Dr. Ileana Vargas specializes in the treatment of children with diabetes and children with obesity. Dr. Vargas’ research interests are in the cause, treatment and prevention of childhood obesity. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Babies and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Vargas is a graduate of Fordham University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
