2017 Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center Russell Berrie Foundation Fellowship in Diabetes Research

WHAT: This program, now in its 19th year, is designed to support the mentored diabetes-related research activity of outstanding postdoctoral fellows for a period of up to two years.  Research projects can be laboratory-based or clinical, and can relate to causes, consequences or treatments of diabetes and allied disorders such as obesity. 

FUNDING: The program will award up to $65,000 per year, for a maximum of two years (for a total of $130,000). Start dates in January 2018.  A second year of funding is contingent upon progress made in the first year and other programmatic considerations.

WHO: Applications are submitted by the mentor in conjunction with the potential fellow.
