Teens Virtually "Sip" and Paint

A special “sip and paint” night allowed a group of Berrie Center teens to virtually connect and destress. While sipping ice water and other sugar-free refreshments, the teens enjoyed painting with art therapist Cara Lampron on Zoom. The theme of the project was mountainscapes. "An array of feelings and emotions came through in the artwork, which led to verbal processing including themes of self-compassion," said Cara.

Prior to the event, all teens received a care package from the Berrie Center with all necessary materials-- an eisel, artist apron, a canvas, paints and brushes. Thank you to the family and friends of Julia Sherr for making this night possible.
